Actually psychiatrists are medical doctors and do check-ups and prescribe meds. Psychologists, like Dr. Phil, are glorified hand holders. They need a graduate degree in psychology. Given that no two psychologists agree about any standard therapy for anything, he's probably about as qualified as Dr. Laura, Frazier Crane, Dr. Drew, or any other radio psycho babbler. These are called entertainers, they have a degree and maybe at one time actually practiced, but they are generally in the business of entertaining their listeners. By the way, if you get Love Line in your town with Dr. Drew and Adam Corolla, you should listen it is truly funny and pretty sick.
