are you really going to open that can of worms about SMU students not being able to get into TCU or for that matter actually thinking that anyone who is a senior in high school would consider living in Fort Worth over Dallas? The nightlife alone should draw people there. I think one of the three bars actually sweeps the sawdust on a weekly basis.

• Is it because those of you who are current students didn't get accepted into TCU? And if you did, would your opinion then alter?

• Is it because TCU left Conference USA because it was, and is, falling apart?

• Is it because TCU has a better athletics and academics programs all around?

• Is it because TCU doesn't bend the rules, or cheat, in their football program to become supuriour?

• Is it because TCU has one of the best, if not the best, recruiting classes for football?

I agree. I don't have an issue with the Frogs fans necessarily, but the hubris of their adminstration's move, which will work against almost every one of their student athletes and parents, will be regreted for sometime.

As they struggle in their new situation, the realityof this bad choice will occur sooner. Therefore, modest results by TCU will handicap MWC and erode local support for long distance competition with little or no benefit.

I also think they wanted to distance themselves from us. That might bug me, but it is childish on its own.

the froggies are understandably upset. After week one, they thought they could run the table and get into the BCS bowl picture. SMU burst that bubble in a big way and now they are undoubtedly wondering if another losing record is in store for them this year. I'm pulling for Baylor and TCU to go on and have good years...and for SMU to show everyone that this past Saturday was not the fluke many think it was.

We have too good a defense for anyone to hang 70 pts on us this year. And this team shows it has heart. I don't see these guys quitting no matter what.

That's a lie for sure. Im sure you know TCU recruited James Pierce from Longview. Except the bad thing, is that he couldnt pass the TAKS test three straight times and was forced to sign with Kilgore College before then having to transfer to TCU two years later.

Well found out last week before the TCU game, James Pierce is a redshirt Freshmen for TCU..Hmmm.
