What consitutes a graduate assistant. Dat completed is Masters before he left A&M. Can he do additional graduate work at SMU and qualify. Frankly, I'd rather we simply hired him straight out before A&M grabs him.

Parcell's was the first to mention the possibility of Dat retiring because of injury. Usually, remarks like that from The Tuna are actually strong suggestions. I think Parcell's genuinely likes and admires him. But I still believe he doesn't fit his model as a pro linebacker. With the injuries, I expect Parcell's believes he will have permanently lost some of his skills. And, in the final analysis, he won't deviate from his model.

Does anyone know if Dat has ever expressed an interest in coaching?
He might have socked away enough money that he can put his feet up, take a deep breath and retire from everything.
