If Bennett really wants to leave for Manhattan I'll gladly drive down to Dallas, pick him up and drop him off at the front door of Bill Snyder Family Stadium.

I'm constantly amazed that a couple of wins at the end of a mediocre season somehow whitewashes over the futility that has consistently marked the Bennett era.

Let's say hypothetically that KSU was looking at Tulsa's Kragthorpe. At least that makes sense to me. If JoPa wasn't going to steal it (something we all know he's good at), Kragthorpe should be coach of the year.

I know he's tight with KSU, but what has Bennett done that makes him worthy of a plum BCS gig with BCS $$$?

Look, I'm not saying get rid of Bennett. He's adequate and who knows, in a couple years we may be something. But for now, I don't see why KSU would bother.

There's nobody among the administration or the fans who is satisfied with the current win total. There's no "whitewashing" going on here.
