Texas goes up 16-7 with 2:34 remaining the 1st half. Momentum is now with the Horns.

Trojans kick a 43 yd. FG.
UT 16
USC 10
Nice little S.M.U. moment (although hidden). Graphic shows the longest winning streaks in the NCAA.
USC 34
U.T. 19
TCU 10 (we know when that streak began don't we, Mustangs?)

As raplh pointed out (sort of), if Keith Jackson could see that, everyone in the stadium must have seen it. Then again, they also took away what should have been a UT interception, so it looks like the refs are robbing both teams. Hopefully those idiots won't decide the outcome.

Personally, I dont care who wins...
That said, I'm not sure that was an Int. He left the ground-- this was not a runner who had possession & then was tackled with the ground causing the fumble.
Question: If he jumped & (literally) left the field, would you think a player has to land in the field of play (with the ball in your hands) to make a reception/interception? (This isn't BB where you can jump out-of-bounds & create a BS timeout).

Nope -- it's not the NFL, where you can get a catch and get pushed out before both feet touch. In college, if the ref determines that you could come down on the field with the ball (very subjective, of course), the defense can carry a guy from midfield and throw him into the seats and they can give him a catch.
I was talking about the other one, when #4 (UT) looked like he caught it, only to have it pop out when his back hit the ground. Looked like a pick to me.

UT misses a FG attempt!
That missed PAT earlier in the game could come back to haunt U.T. at the end of this game.

Let's hope. I don't much care about USC, but I can't stand UT. I don't care if they lose by 1 or by 100, I just REALLY want them to lose.
