I'd like to see Patrick Handy get in the 280 range and take over for Brandon Bonds at DT who disappears at times probably because he still needs to get in better condition. Then I'd like to see Bonds get pissed off-get in real condition and challenge Handy again. Also want to see if the rumors about Parham are anywhere close to true-that he can be a top DLM. If Chase Smith really runs a 4.9 I don't know why in the world you would move him to OLM unless some of these young guys have real potential. I'd like to see our best athletes who can stretch the defense two deep at the Receiver positions-and if that means moving Henderson to Inside Receiver I'd like to see that too. Then I'd like to know what happened to the great Jamar Bey and Dominc Pryor who were supposed to be competing for All-Conference Honors by now. Finally, I'd like to see Bennett have the "balls" to allow Phillips to compete for the QB job against Tom, [deleted] & Harry-you won't see him get the chance to be the Player of the Spring Game however again.

I'd like to see Bonds get worked up, too. But last I heard, the plan is to play Patrick Handy at DE, where he can rotate with Justin Rogers and/or Cory Muse.

I'll be interested to see that, too. He signed at 240, and allegedly is in the 280-290 range now. I keep hearing he's very quick for a guy his size, but I also admit I wouldn't know him if he walked in the room right now.

My guess would be that he has pretty long arms, and is threatening to crack 500 pounds on the bench (maybe even by August, according to the rumor mill). That would give him a very good initial punch, and if he's as quick as has been reported, he might be able to handle speed rushers as well as power rushers. Has anyone confirmed that this is true? Or is it just speculation?

I remember more hype around Pryor (who is playing DT now, having finally added some meat on his frame) than Bey, but I thought both were viewed as athletes who were projects, weren't they? Either way, you're right -- they're both tall, athletic guys who I'd love to see causing headaches for opposing QBs.

Hey. What Columbus Givens Fan deleted my post? I meant no harm. I just want him to catch the ball, that's all I'm saying.

I would say that the operative words here are "could be" not "will be"...but then they aren't done here yet either.
