how about the week of the game maybe an ad in the daily campus to spark a little interest in the student body... "The Boulevard heads for Bourbon Street!"

Thanks to the mod for making this sticky.

I hope most of you don't look at me as a Horn fan instruding on your board. As Thadfilms can attest, I'm very much a Pony fan as well. I think I've been to more Pony road games than home games at this point - even to Collie Station. :shock:

I hope my affiliation with UT will not prevent someone from getting involved in this with us.

It would be great to get something put together for this game. I know this may be a little ahead of the game, but for now I'm mostly trolling for ideas. I think the bar we "rented" was a small club (I think it's something else now), not something big like Pat O'Briens (as an aside, there are better daiquiris on Bourbon than at Pat O's).

So, please, let's put our heads together and plan a good time on Bourbon.

Okay this thread is on the verge of jumping the shark...

PonyFans on Bourbon Street.

I've got a couple contacts I can call - and I am sure that you other PonyFans have some better contacts - but we have to do a feasibility check. How many want to do this? How many will be at the game? Etc.

Heck, if we want to do this we could do a collection at the Special Delivery tent at the two home games leading up to the Tulane game.

I can make tee-shirts again.
