still the best crowd SMU has seen in the post death penalty era...because that 32k at Ford on 9/2/2000 was a predominately SMU crowd. Kansas brought fewer than we see playing an old SWC mate like Tech, Baylor or TCU

let's hope the future of SMU football includes a lot more crowds like we saw on 9/2/2000 and that student interest swells to the point they overflow into the south end zone as SRO
