Again, sacrificing standards shouldn't be the goal or method. There is nothing incompatiable with winning and maintaining certain standards.
In reaction to the sins of the past we over did it with non-competitve policies, e.g. acceptance before visits, offers, etc. But, I can assure you that players, who meet the standards at USC and ND, will not have a problem at SMU.
