Lubbock is bad karma for poniesPlaying Tech in Lubbock is inviting disaster. Leach will reload at QB and run up the score. SMU is still hoping about who is the QB. I fear the worst and hope we don't get any key players hurt before we got into the winnable soft part of the NC schedule. I predict Tech 45 SMU 10. If it is closer than this score, I will consider it a good start for 2006.[/b]
Sam I Am
I have to agree with Sam I am. DeMyron will have to keep us from going 3 and out alot enabling Tech to run it up.

Don't have to 'hope' about Justin Willis. He'll be fine. The guy is a winner.
This Frog will be pulling for the Ponys when you roll into Lubbock!! Go get em!
Would love nothing more than to see the Ponies, Frogs, and Miners all beat the Raiders. Unlikely I know, but I think those techies need to be taken down a peg or two.
GOOD LUCK MUSTANGS!!! I hope this is the season to become bowl eligible and really make it fun to watch Mustang football again. I hope everyone has a good time in Lubbock, all the new restaurants around the stadium are open or will be open by the game. Again, for those who come, have fun up here and I hope yall have an awesome season.
...I remember there was a NY Burrito close by...is that still there? My other personal top three, are, in order: 1) Gardski's; 2) Taco something (villa? it's a small chain I've only seen in Lubbock...reminds of Del Taco for you Californians) and 3) The 50 Yard Line. Anywhere else?
I'm actually looking forward to going up there just to see how our guys play against the best. Sure the score could get scary if we start going three and out, but we have played them fairly good in two out of three games during the time PB's been here. I do think (QB) Justin Willis will be a fine leader on the field and we certainly have good speed at WR,and RB . However, no predictions..... just dreams for the 2006 season.
We'll Be There! Considering driving to Lubbock. BEAT TECH! SMU 30 - Tech 28 ![]() "THE SMU BLVD - - NO PLACE ELSE" (retired)
Sorry, folks. We won't be attending the game now. Ya'll have fun and bring the Mustangs back home with the first 'W' of the year!
