IF we are 3-1 in our first 4 games, and IF the loss is to Tech, and IF there are no major injuries in the first 4 games, I feel confident for the balance of the season, meaning I expect a winning record and a small bowl game. BUT even if we were somehow able to beat Tech, a loss to any of the next 3 will set the program back. I truly feel the key to the season is opening by winning the games we are supposed to win and not playing down to their level. A little confidence can go a long way for the remainder of the year.

SMU is looking better to go bowling this year than BU is all I'm saying.

I think that one or the other of you will get to a bowl this year. And yeah, if you both go to the fort worth bowl, I'll come round the mountain that day.

yeah, but you guys could mix it up some in the band, it does get old after the first dozen times.

And I will absolutely support the team that didn't leave us high and dry back in the 90's vs the one that did, although I firmly believe at this point that Baylor got the [deleted] end of that deal as it turned out. Regardless, one of you guys is due for a winning season sometime in the oughts, and its hard not to root for both of you at least to end the futility sometime soon, its getting kinda embarassing for Texas

This team is has more talent than most think. Willis just needs to be consistent and not make major mistakes. The schedule is too favorable for nothing less than 7 wins. I think we get to the Hawaii Bowl and go 9-3
