I don't see him getting drafted if he doesn't play a year when he only played one year of college ball. Maurice Clarett was a third rounder under similar circumstances, but (a) he was a RB and not a QB; and (b) Clarett bombed.
The CFL has already started its season. I don't see how he could play there until 2007.

He needs to go back to that job and tell them he wants it full time.

I guarantee you he parked one of those cars at his crib every night.
This was the same dealership that Peterson drove a car from for a few weeks before returning it.

I could honestly care less what happens to him from this point. As was stated above the kid is a punk and deserves everything he gets. Perhaps he'll learn a little humility and start making a positive contribution to society after this incident.

Sounds like they have really good customer relations!
But remember, Peterson test-drove that Lexus for months, and it was determined that he didn't do anything wrong.
Welcome .... MAYBE .... to the Arena Football League, Bomar!

I found this on another board:
I have heard through a reliable source at work and a premium site, that peterson is under investigation as we speak. What if they lose him as well? They have already lost their best OL, starting QB, and kicker.

Wow -- THAT would be huge news. Peterson is a guy who could sit out a year and still be a stud in the NFL. Bomar can hope to be the next .... Gus Frerotte?

I don't know if that is true though. I just got that off of another board. I figured it was relevant.

Awesome. OU fans are so obnoxious. I hope they lose to UAB in their first game. On a more serious note, I know some of you guys said he was a (deleted word) but I can't help but feel for him that he's basically p'd away a pretty promising career.
My main question is if its this bad, how is the NCAA going to come down on their program? I would think that after a so so year last year, and then maybe restrictions to come, recruits would question committing to OU this early, or if they've already committed.

Our coaching staff should be contacting the verbals as soon as possible (within the rules of course)

At least they addressed the problem and in a firm manner. SMU has never quite done it that way.

Put this along with the program Sampson ran in basketball and you have to wonder, is OU dirty program-wide?
