FREE TICKETS?

All professors (and maybe all staff) get two free tickets to all sporting events. I go as often as I can -- using my wife's tickets -- and buy a couple extra if I need them plus concessions. When SMU does well, it raises the stature of my wife's workplace and potentially where my kids will go to school and that's a good thing.

I think Rice is the world's leader at giving away free tickets. I called SMU for some donated tickets to TCU and Rice games a couple years ago for a United Way campaign at work at they obliged. They went for about $15 each and raised over $200 for UW and provided some publicity for SMU football.

as has been stated...free tickets are available. The real question is: how, at this late date, would you go about trying to get people to accept and use those tickets and actually come out to the UAB game?

we can talk all day about marketing opportunities lost (the boo-levard), but seriously...how do you get a crowd out now?

EVERY game SMU plays for the remainder of the season is an ELIMINATION game! If the Mustangs lose any more games, they ain't goin' bowlin'! WIN, MUSTANGS! WIN!
