November 11th will be my first SMU game

If you do not know this already, park at the DART transfer lot off of Mockingbird just east of Central and shuttle over to the stadium. As an out of towner who attends the games I am very appreciative of the simplicity (and free no less) of getting to the campus. I am not sure this is marketed enough. I am sure there are people in Dallas that think about going to a game and then figure the parking would be so difficult and costly that it is not worth the effort. Free convenient parking and always discount tickets should be easily marketable in Dallas. A family of 4 can go to a Division 1 football game for less than the cost of going to a movie and even at outrageous prices, the concessions are less costly too.

Here's a question, since I never did that--do you have to show them a game ticket to get on the shuttle?

No ticket needed. But the shuttle only goes over to SMU so why else would anyone want to ride?

I will be bringing my father-in-law. He was a big SMU fan in the 60's and 70's, but after the DP he started watching Longhorn games. Here is hoping getting him at an SMU game after 20 some odd years will bring his interest in the team back.

In laws and longhorn fans are allowed on the bus too. I am not sure if they allow a rider to be both however. You might call ahead.

I want to ride because the games I go to are at SMU.
