SMU Football Blog wrote:The legal issues involved SMU letting the license lapse and then the SMU students boradcasting the signal illegally. The FCC yanked the license permanently. That would be a valuable asset today, but now one SMU is not likely to ever reacquire.
Aren't there any SMU law school grads who would want to tackle this? ;)

BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

Well we *might* be able to get it back now.... when we let it lapse Southwest Missouri State snatched it up (SMSU)... but that school has been renamed Missouri State - so I doubt that KSMU has any baring on their name anymore... probably changed the call letters of the radio station when they changed the name of the school.

So I'm saying there's a chance.

That's too bad. College radio is always better than the regular stations. I've always wondered why TCU and UNT has a station and we don't.

Yes, the freq. are limited now. I can hardly use my Ipod anymore in the car b/c there isn't any open stations (without using the corded adapter)
