SMU football will not lose again this year. We will host the CUSA championship in front of 32,000 at Ford and will bring 15,000 fans to Memphis to watch the Ponies whip Georgia and Matt Stafford...or maybe Kentucky. No stopping us now.

Just thinking out loud here: IF SMU were to go up against Georgia & Matt Stafford (QB) it would help bring a LOT more folks from Dallas (especially the Park Cities) out to see the game.

But realistically...it ain't gonna happen.

you're right. Kind of like how it hurts when your buddy, uged on by libations and resultant faux bravery, goes up to the hot woman in the bar who is a 'D1 prospect' to your buddy's NAIA D-2 standing and strikes up a conversation.
