Get ready for The Apocolypse. I just went to that web site and read what they're saying!

I'd love to see a host of U.T. fans there supporting the Mustangs. And they won't be difficult to spot. They'll be wearing burnt orange. ;)

Thanks, LHF68!

I just checked the site to see what all was involved in getting a ticket and it said that there was only 15 seats available. Does that mean you can only buy 15 at a time or that there is only 15 seats left in the section that they alloted for this deal? If it's the latter, they need to open some more seats. :D

Ignore how many seats that it says are available. It said 16 when I bought mine and I bought 10. Afterwards, it show 15? Maybe it is per purchase? Regardless, I wouldn't worry about it, although 10 is the most you can purchase at one time.

I bought 10 & might buy a bunch more, trying to get people who don't normally go, hopefully some young kids who can start drinking the Kool-Aid now and become SMU fans...

Well, this seems to be getting more attention than i anticipated. I've gotten 3 pm's from people saying they're going. Hopefully this will be a successful little ad campaign.

Could someone share what username and password to use? I think I missed that memo and everythin I've tried has failed.

Similar thing happened to me. Said there were 13 tickets remaining, I bought 10 and then it said 12 remained.

Inspired by LF68 and ThadFilms, here's the email I just sent to the IS department here at Baylor Health Care. (Background, we all watched the SMU/Arkansas State game on the big screen at our department potluck on Wednesday of this week):

"For those of you who enjoyed the entertainment at this week’s Thanksgiving potluck, I thought I would pass along an offer that’s frankly pretty attractive if you like college football and the college gameday experience.

SMU is playing the University of Tulsa tomorrrow at 2pm at Ford Stadium on the SMU campus. See the article from today’s Dallas Morning News on the significance of this game here: http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent ... 76085.html

Bottom line: SMU wins and they’re bowl eligible for the first time in almost 20 years.

And then you have the fantastic tailgating experience that is the SMU Boulevard: http://smumustangs.cstv.com/trads/boulevard.html

Here’s the offer. Let me know by 5pm today, I will personally buy your ticket for you. Simply tell me how many tickets you need and the first names of those attending.

Feel free to forward this offer to whomever you’d like. The only caveat is that if you request a ticket you have to promise to do everything you can to attend the game and cheer the Mustangs.

That’s it. Come visit the beautiful SMU campus and Ford Stadium. Come support your local NCAA Division I football team in their quest for the first bowl berth in 20 years!

GO MUSTANGS!"
