You said 3 wins after NTSU and gave up on the team. Come back when you earn some credibility. And throw in some common sense. The only handle you have that is correct is your sign on handle.

All that Ford has done is to ensure that SMU continues to have a football program. Otherwise, it is comparable to a high school football stadium. In terms of making the team competitive, it has done nothing. It has also failed to even marginally improve recruiting.[/quote]

Credibility check: Show me a high school stadium that seats 32,000 with state of the art pressbox, luxury skyboxes, and video replay board (please don't lose more credibility and say Texas Stadium). Just mention one, please. HP's Highlander Stadium, typically qouited as one of the best HS stadiums in the country, holds 12,000.

I agree that Ford does not seem to have positively impacted recruiting.

With the level of teams in the C-USA, coupled with our OOC schedule, this is one of the lowest points in Pony football history, no doubt. We are worse off (excuse the english) today...I agree with Stallion. We are Temple, we are Duke, except Duke has fun between Nov - March..we are now Buffalo / _____________ (lower level D-1 team). I agree with McClown, if it wasnt' for Ford Stadium, we would / should go D-11...I'm so freakin' numb, I really don't care anymore. My father-in-law was all negative on Friday, "we are going to get smashed", etc., etc..I was being all UP, positive, fooloish me...I'm tired. Beat. Worn out. Call me when we are somebody and we are playing for something....RAH RAH!

And don't forget the DMN has not done its job to make SMU better.

What everyone is failing to understand is that we had a pretty good level of talent this year. Our team just didn't play up to their potential at key points in this season. ECU, RICE,UNT! I'll concede the Houston loss. Maybe they had better athletes. I don't believe Rice or UNT had better athletes on the field against us. UTEP is a wash because of the suspension. :x

The only way to gain "credibility" with you is to be a homer. Sorry. Alumni like you are part of the problem.

I have never quit on my team, I have never refused to go to a game after a loss and I have forgotten more about football and facilities than you will ever know. Quit trying to be a Stallion. You are too weak in your knowledge to carry it off.
