In my totally biased opinion, Dickerson was the best college running back I have ever seen. His junior and senior year was absolutely a pleasure to watch. And what he did in the NFL was truly spectacular as well.

It's pretty sad when we have an SMU alumnus who has the greatest RUSHING statistics of any man who ever played the game and some snot nosed SMU punk fan has to come on here and concoct a way to make a Frog look better.

Yes Stallion what a concoction it was to look at all the stats. That's all I did. I looked at the stats that matter for running backs, TDs, rushing yards, rushing TDs, total TD's and total yards. and the facts are that Tomlinson's stats beat Dickerson's in several of those categories. You were correct with his rushing stats, but it doesn't tell the whole story, which probably suits you best because it helps make your point.

I'll say it again Dickerson is one of the best ever and quite possibly the best pure rusher ever, but Tomlinson's numbers can't be discounted either. It pains me to say that about a Frog but, you should be realistic in your statments. You said "There has never been a more dominant running back in the NFL during his first 6 years in the league. His numbers during those years are unparalled in NFL Football History."

THIS IS OBVIOUSLY NOT TRUE.

And one more thing: I'm not arguing Tomlinson vs. Dickerson. I'm simply looking at a blanket statement that you made and checking to see if you know your butt from a hole in the ground. Once again I'm led to believe that you don't. That's all I've got for now, guess I'll go wipe the snot from my nose.
Here's to those that wish us well and all the rest can go to hell!!!

They are still chasing his NFL Single Season Rushing Record 25 years later and that includes Tomlinson who would have to run for 356 yards this weekend to break his record. Jeez we can't even give the slightest bit of credit to a truly legendary All-State, All SWC, All Pro, NFL Hall of Famer. Show a little pride in the Home Team and respect for an SMU legend.

Don't forget all-payroll.
