Dont know if anyones watching this game but if you say you are a fan of CFB then you should have seen that 58 yd TD reception from JaMarcus Russell.

Hell of a throw down field from the LSU QB.

Howe Long just said this quick fact: Russell can throw the ball 80 yds. on his feet, 60 yds on his knees, and 40 yds on his butt.

40 yards on his butt? Sounds like a skill that would come in handy with our offense.

Is anyone else tired of seeing the Rock'em Sock'em robots ad, or hearing Alec Baldwin tout the advantages of Blockbuster online over Netflix.

It seems like those have been on every freaking commercial break during the bowl games. Driving me crazy.

How about ND? I think this sort of game really exposes them. I wonder how long Weiss will be able to hang around South Bend without garnering any key wins.

Well his contract runs thru 2017 so for another 10 years is the answer to that question.

A rough ending to the "great" career of Brady Quinn:

15 of 35 with 149 yards, 2 TDs & 2 INTs...i think thats a season low in yds

Wow. I had no idea his contract was that long. Is that precedented/normal? I know Mac Brown has a pretty lengthy contract as well.

After he got them to the Fiesta Bowl last year he got a 10 year contract extension. Hes actually salary per year is not really known but I am sure hes making $3 million a year atleast

CORRECTION: from wikipedia

On October 29, 2005, only halfway through the first year of a six-year contract, Weis signed a contract extension with Notre Dame. The new 10-year deal, worth a reported $30 million to $40 million, will keep Weis at Notre Dame through 2015. This signing was controversial because of the disparate treatment that Weis and Ty Willingham received after similar first season records. After signing the contract extension, Weis commented that he would only leave Notre Dame upon being fired or death. However with the potential opening as New York Giants head coach, Weis' dream job, some have begun to question the validity of that statement.

Speaking of commercials, at the Rose Bowl it seemed like the TV time-out guy was on the field every 5 freakin mins. And the worst was that it seemed like the commercial breaks lasted for 10 minutes!! It really slowed the game down and pissed off a lot of fans (around me at least). I guess ABC really got their money's worth outta their one BCS game.
GO MUSTANGS!

FIGHT ON!
