No, I just figured that before you cast aspersions upon a conference you should be able to beat their representative from just up the road. Especially if they are full of, how did he put it, "sad, pitiful person who strives so hard to be consider equal to an SMU alum."

You do realize we are 27-4-1 against you guys, right? In common opponents last year, we were 2-0, one of which was a 55-9 blowout win. I don't think you've quite earned the right to beat your chest and act like you own the world because of one game. Also, it's not exactly wise to brag about a winning a game when the local media calls it one of the worst losses in school history because we played [deleted] poor. What that tells me is that your team won because you sucked less that day, not because of any achievements or strivings your team has made. And may I suggest proofreading your posts before sending them? Your syntax in your last sentence is about as [deleted] and unintelligible as they come.

Hey PP, easy with the "[deleted]" comments...my little one is special needs, and the last time somebody called him [deleted], his big brother nearly beat the crap out of the kid. But if you are going to use the term, NTSU and/or TCU are the appropriate schools to apply it. I'll grant you that.

My apologies OC. I should watch my wording more closely.

This is golden. As usual, when SMU fans can't talk about their team backing it up on the playing field they talk about "luck", "sucking less that day" or some other variant of "We suck but our wallets won't let us admit it." Here's a list of responses that I expect from you or one of your troglodyte brethren:
1)NTSU in some form or fashion
2)We're in CUSA and the associative property is relevant to football...no, really it is
3)We have more money than you
4)My mommy says I'm special. I bet she does.
5)You're [deleted]...though again this has nothing to do with football.
6)We own the all-time record. Really? Didn't you beat UT or Tech once? Are you gonna gloat about those wins too to prove that you are relevant in TODAY'S athletic landscape? How are those payments to players coming?
7)When all else fails turn on your siren, flash your badge and declare yourself the grammar police. I'm sure your 9th grade English teacher is a lifelong SMU season ticket holder because of your excellent grammar. (Does SMU have lifelong season ticket holders?)

You forgot one: SMU got into C-USA on its own merits, NTSU couldn't and then its "fans" accused SMU of blackballing it. Losers.

A bunch of your buddies did and still do. And actually believe it is true, amazingly enough. Sad, pathetic losers. Fans of Baylor of Sunbelt.

I bet you think you're special because you used a troglodyte, don't you?

1) We use NTSU because it's funny (and mainly because it pisses you guys off so much). Yes, it may be a bit juvenile, but it's a message board. Who honestly cares?

2) I don't flaunt CUSA around like it is the Hope Diamond. I'm proud of it, yes, and I think it gives SMU advantages through media attention, regional rivalries, and multiple bowl opportunities, as opposed to WAC when we were in it.

3) To be honest, I probably have less money than you do, though that's none of your business. So to say I wave a wad of 100s in your face is nothing less than stereotypical, and could only happen if we started playing Monopoly.

4) Tell me whose "mommy" doesn't think their child is special? I think you're running out of straw men, personally.

5) Yep, you're running out of straw men. Since you're going elementary school here, maybe I should put bubble gum in your hair and throw rocks at you.

6) Yes, we did beat UT and TT once upon a time. No, most of those games aren't relevant in the present football landscape. But, please explain how our loss has suddenly vaulted you, a 3-9 team last year I might add, above a team that seriously contended for #1 in CUSA West. You, sir, are the one flaunting a single win believing it gives you automatic relevance in our eyes. That you somehow shocked the world and now everyone will notice you. How pathetic.

7) I was not policing anyone's grammar. Though I would assume making an understandable sentence wouldn't be too much to ask of you.

"No, I just figured that before you cast aspersions upon a conference you should be able to beat their representative from just up the road. Especially if they are full of, how did he put it, 'sad, pitiful person who strives so hard to be consider equal to an SMU alum.'"

Really... What in the world are you trying to say? The second sentence makes no sense at all. Trash talk needs to be understandable, that's a key thing about it.

And by the way, if you don't like our nicknames for your school, quit reading the SMU board. Go read your own, you'll be much less likely to find them there.

Last year didn't we slaughter the defending champion of the SunBelt Conference from 2005? I thought so. This year, I don't see Bennett keeping Willis under wraps against the College and University of North Texas. We'll see what happens this fall on the gridiron.

4-27-1. 4-27-1. That's as far as any arguement ever needs to go. Ever. So stop trying to justify your poisition to the North Texas fan, because it's not needed and it's not worth it.
