Let's put it this way, how embarrassing it would have been to go to a better bowl than the Ft. Worth bowl last year and have virtually no one show up.
I'd rather have some immediate excitement and go to Ft. Worth because we have some available alumni in the area than commit to/be in a 'better' bowl like New Orleans or Liberty and have 3k show up on National TV.
