No. Illinois is 49-25 over last six seasons with 3 bowls and no losing seasons.

Miami (Ohio) has two losing seasons since 1990.

I like Miami more than No. Illinois. That would be a beautful road trip to take for a game in late September and October. They have one of the most beautiful campuses in the nation. Plus, they have more of a football legacy. A quick sampling of their former football coaches or assistants: Blaik, Paul Brown, Hayes, Schembechler, Parseghian, Tressel, Dietzel, and current New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton.

I don't know about you but I'd prefer to make a stop in Chicago on the way to Dekalb.

Chicago is definetely a draw for NIU, but the dreariness of the Dekalb campus and the lack of a football history should also be taken into consideration.

Lop off Central Florida and Memphis in the East and UTEP and UNLV in the West and get back to 12 teams.

Though from last years football only record these would be the best teams to choose.

So. Mississippi 73.5
