I give up. You guys win. They have a bunch of thugs, more thugs than us for sure. I still wish we could win like them though.
.......................... If we could get some recruits like RB Cyrus Gray, it would sure help us get this program turned around. In the meantime, Coach Viloria's program is our best option to increase strength, speed, and confidence among our players.

A few clarifications.
"I am still a bit confused. If one robs a home when the house is vacated, and there isn't a weapon involved, is it still armed robbery?"
No, because you can't rob a house. You can burglarize one. Robbery implies the presence of a person. The reason you can rob a convenience store or a bank is that you threaten in some way the persons therein.
"If one snatches a purse without using a weapon, is it still armed robbery?"
No, because that's a theft. Unless some kind of threat was used to acquire the purse and you just snatched it and ran it is a theft.
As to the "felony murder" thing what you are describing is capital murder. Any time a murder is committed during the commission of another felony.
Also, no, all robberies are not "armed." If I walk up to you and say "give me all your money or I'll kill you" that is still a robbery if you could reasonably believe that I have the means and intent to kill you...e.g. I'm that much larger than you or I make you believe that I have a weapon though I haven't displayed it.
I know this will all be summarily disregarded or scrutinized because I'm a "NTSU" person but thought I'd shed a little light none the less.

I think applause is in order. Another NTSU grad has kept his/her post on topic and actually contributed to the conversation at hand.

Thanks for the clarification.
One more question. When a U of A fan claims that the beloved Razorbacks lost a game because of an alleged bias call by the officials against the beloved Razorbacks, would it be correct for them to say "We was burglarized" or "We was robbed"?

It's really pretty simple.
Don't like the UT thug threads?
Don't read them.

First, warrant usually contains two r's.
Second, the player in question claims mistaken identity and seems to have a credible alibi. I'm not saying he didn't do it, but I'm not going to judge before i know the facts... unlike most here.

That would certainly be more in line with his previous character history.
