As far as Robinson goes, on a serious note I can tell you that the part about him planning to major in theatre is either a typo, or he has been misinformed by somebody. Meadows wouldn't allow it. Theatre majors have Saturday/Sunday classes/rehearsals and crap. 7 days. So I guess he'll have to give up his dreams of performing in "Pump Boys and Dinettes" soon, if he wants to play football.
Yeah, but I had a buddy in the marching band who was a theatre major... he would only get parts in the fall shows. So it's do-able... but as my band buddy would say, not recommended. Hell I had to quit the band and the Mustang Band was the sole reason I picked up the saxophone in the first place. That was just for filmmaking requirements I was placing on myself, not regimented by the theatre school.
I was, however, "awarded" and honorary SMUT (SMUTheatre) hat that were the going around one year. That year, I played Snug the Joyner in an "Off Mainstage" production of Midsommer... so that's what it said on the back of my hat. Without proper context I don't know what people might think of SNUG SMUT hat.
Oddly enough those SMUT hats were the brainchild of that afore mentioned Mustang bandsmen.
And in a related note, I did make the right decision, but I did end up putting off film for four years.... after college. Not on purpose just sort of the slow crawl, the pits and valleys, what not. I mean I still worked in film, just not on my films.
No word yet on getting all the chicks. I will update as the story develops, perhaps when I start getting 'some' of the chicks.
