The way the weather has been this year it will probably be raining. They should wear uniforms made of water so the Tech players can't see them.

That wouldn't make us sea horses, would it?

The Mustang Band is going to be all in white, and word is fans are going to be asked to wear white. White will stand out much better against the red and blue seats.

Labor Day starts at 12:00 midnight, before the game. Can't wear white after Labor Day starts, druids.

Sorry, guys. According to the show What Not to Wear, it's okay to wear white after Labor Day. And I think white applied to shoes.

Put a #7 white decal on our new red helmets, and wear blue jerseys
Also play the U-Tube video of Leach's throwback runback constantly on
the Jumbotron in honor of the almost 25th Anniversary of that game.
P.S. Honor Leach's runback with something during every time out, and especially at halftime It'll drive the sand aggies crazy.

Let me get this straight..........A home game and we are going to change from our home colors both on the field and in the stands????????????????? 2 Words: Bush League................(No pun intended.......)
Is this the way a school that says it wants to be in the top 25 in all sports conducts itself???????

If u-r-in-top-25
then print "u can wear what u want to"
else
If u-want-2B-Top25
then print " ACT LIKE IT "
end-if
end-if.
OK, we can wear our white jerseys with red numbers since it maybe 108
at 3pm on Labor Day.
No Bush league politics puns please.

The question I posed was related to the potential heat and trying to capitalize on our home field advantge. At 3pm, the sun will be beating down on the east sideline while the west sideline will be in the shade. I was just thinking that putting those Tech SoBs out in the sun in dark jerseys will be another issue they will have to deal with.
What I would love to see is that we go back to the 1982 uniform for the entire season to pay tribute to the Cotton Bowl Championship team all year. Just on Labor Day, we wear the white jerseys instead of the blue ones.
Also, I love the idea of playing the Miracle Man's return on the Jumbotron!

Actually the 82 uniform is just an average OK uni.
It kinda reminded me of the Judson High School Blue Devil
uniform where I went to during elementary school. White helmet blue
jersey white pants. Really though that plain uni was cool. Wore that uni
myself during during Jr. High.
Now that color scheme just reminds me of being a former DEVIL, and the
evil the SMU Athletic Dept. represented during 82.
Hayden Fry, possibly SMU's best coach ever, considering the
circumstances with Cowboys pro ball etc. taking away interest, and
attendance, invented the best uni ever:

Then again, I hear Jamell hasn't been practicing at all lately (along with Bradley Haynes) because he recently had oral surgery...so that #7 may not be running around but Dave Haynes is a #7
