Yup, because if you take that incident completely out of context, that's all it was.

By all means, bag on just about any other Longhorn you can think of, but you really don't have [deleted] on Vince Young.

1. I hate UT - Everything about it, from the school itself to the god-awful color of the uniforms to that heavily sedated cow that gets dragged out at games.
2. Don't let the UT hate get you down - you are a more than welcome addition to PonyFans.com, and this site is better with you around.
3. I've always been one of those who thought Young isn't a great QB (ignore that Rookie of the Year award behind the curtain, Dorothy), and that he led UT to all those wins because athletically, he's from another planet. (I still think - and for the record, I have not had a drink in about 9 hours ... dammit - that as good as he is at QB, he could be an other-worldly WR ... somehow I'm guessing that move won't be made now by the Titans. It's almost as if I was wrong in that assessment.)
4. With all that said, I loved what Young did at practice that day. He's getting a gazillion dollars, and he's in there sticking up for his teammate. Ballsy move, and the right move.
5. At the risk of sparking another round of jokes about Young and the Wunderlic test, please tell that brain surgeon that if he's going to fight, hit with his left (non-throwing) hand!
