They both had #7 tonight. The rule is, that you can't have 2 guy's on the field at the same time, with the same number.

More than that, he can play. Saw him play at Hillcrest and at Grace Prep, and he's going to be a stud for the Ponies.
I really shouldn't drink and type.

I was very impressed with the size, condition and strength of the offensive line. Love the Mohawks! The incoming freshman also looked strong and huge. Bus should be proud. I am curious about Serge. From my observation, he did not play much, just standing on the defensive line sideline. He is a big kid and I thought he was highly recruited as a transfer. Anyone know what the deal is?

Love the positioning of the Pony Up lampost banner schedules along Hillcrest Ave. where the Panther faithful will see them going to and from school each day, as well as around NorthPark Shopping Center where alot of those students congregate after school and on weekends! Trust me...the kids at Hillcrest know who D. Bell is and where he's going to college! You can expect to see quite a few Hillcrest fans in the stands at Ford this season!

Apparently, Devin was very sick with a bad cough and thus was not allowed to suit up today.

I generally agree that the offense looked better tonight in a preseason scrimmage than they have in years. Maybe 20 years........ RB Martin showed more speed than I have witnessed in the past. Very impressive improvement.... That said, the defensive line play ? Well, alot of work still to do there........Freshmen ? Several were impressive and showed talent as already mentioned, but the guy who I really thought showed some talent for the future at RB was freshman DeMikel Shankle. He just had a few carries late but showed good speed. Shankle has the running style of present OU RB Patrick.

Too many 40 yard passes to the sideline only to make 2 yards. I hate that play! Lake Highlands runs it too and it never works there either. Whatever happened to a post pattern? I would rather throw downfield.

Thanks southerncomfort. He's a good guy, and should have a good season too.

If you're going to call out a poster, please pick the right one.
Derrius may be smart and he may bounce back, but he was pretty bad last night. Dude.

I wasn't there last night, but, at the risk of upsetting ponyboy's half-full mantra, it sounds from these reports that the first team defense has trouble stopping people. Anybody else worried about being able to stop TT, NTSU or anybody else with half an offense?
