For some reason we want to only recruit in a 300 mile radius from the school, or some such. Don't understand that at all. National program = national recruiting. Small time program = small time recruiting.

He's not even going after the big fish in his small pond, how could he then recruit the whole nation, when he's not even effectively recruiting the 300 mile radius????

From my home in San Antonio to the parking lot by the stadium is only 278 miles. However I am telling you those coaches I know at the high schools say we do not recruit kids down here compared to other schools we compete against (i.e. -- Tulsa, UTEP, Houston, etc.).

I think at the point we are now we need to take good players from wherever they are, and Stallion is right when he says a good part of the problem with our poor results stems from our recruiting.
