Have you seen the show that revolves around the U.T. football program on Fox? "Prison Break"

There's no need to be coy about the situation. And it doesn't take genius-level layer upon layer thinking to figure this thing out. The powers that be are talking with people, I imagine, and we will see if its another Doherty or some clown.

Thats really not the question. The question is: will people give Coach ________ one MORE chance; i.e. SMU one more chance?

No reason to think they wouldn't give them/SMU another chance. The papers/news are about stories, and this has all the makings of a good story.

I wasnt referring to the media. I was referring to our steadily dwindling fanbase-donors.

For the past month or so I really felt Bowden wouldn't come because of the BCS issue. Now that I have had more time to think, I really don't see any BCS schools willing to take that big of a chance on him (this year).

Remember: HE HAS BEEN OUT OF COACHING FOR 9 YEARS.

I think Bowden is ours if we can pay him. I can't believe I just typed that...

Now let's get him past the SMU Administration Moral Police...

We are not out of the woods yet...

Clearly, he has stature and would be a great hire if we could get him. Just lock up the cheerleaders.
