No disrespect to your wife, P4L but BEANS are a 'no-no' in any Texas-style chili. East Texas? Not exactly the heart of chili country in Texas.

No disrespect intended MM65 .... but I know Pony4Life and his wife. Let's put this gently: the man has outkicked his coverage by MILES (you're welcome, P4L - see you on the 'Vard). You know the reaction you get when you see some barely-average schlub walking around with someone who looks like she could be on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, or a Victoria's Secret catalog, and wonder "how did THAT guy get HER?" She is so far out of his league that if I was in his place and she said the sun rose in the west and set in the east, I'd parrot that statement all day, too!
