Agreed they are 2 of the best over the past 20 years...
Agree that it is difficult to follow legends...
Still think Booty and especially Colt will be looked at as very average QBs, at least by these schools high standards...and I thougth so last year.

no, that was one of the most talented teams in college football history. Sure he had talent surrounding him, insane talent, but that is like saying Troy Akiman was not a very good QB, he had the best offensive live, running back, fullback, tight end, and recievers in the game....
Leinart lost 2 games as a starter in 3 years and brought his team back many times like the Notre Dame game

Lienart was a better College QB than Troy was a Pro

I think Leinart is one of the greatest college football QBs ever. I think Booty is very good. I think when you follow a guy like Leinart, you are judged unfairly. I think SC fans say "Booty Sucks" because he is not Leinart. Watching SC games this year, their problems are not the QB

if booty had those recievers........I dont think he wins the Notre Dame game, that is the difference between being good and being a legend

other than SEC and maybe big10(down)/pac 10(??), who is better??? there are 3 top 10 teams from big 12? i am not a Big 12 blowhard, but to say they are not a good conferecne is just . . . well silly!
Sports, and all that implies.

I've been a Longhorn fan since before '98 and I've honestly got to say I'd take Phil back over Brown. We've all seen some of the disasters Mack has skippered with the unbelievable talent/support that he has surrounding him in Austin. I can't imagine a team more consistently disappointing with the players it has. I shudder to think of the wreck he'd turn our team into. I don't think he'd be able to recruit any Vince Youngs at SMU to cover his inadequacies up.

the SEC is the best, the pac 10, big 10 are on par with the big 12 i think, even in a weird year for college football, if we are just talking one season, maybe they are better this year . . . but over say the last 10.. big 12 is at #2 overall i would guess..

dont get me started about the big 12.....last year, the Big 12 North did not have a ranked team. The big 12 north is beyond pathetic. Would Kansas be undefeated in any other conference? Oklahoma is legit...other than that....nobody

those were the 3 i was going to name but didnt feel like arguing about it.
It is easy to point to the rankings but isnt it clear that those dont accurately order the teams? I dont believe OU, Kansas, & Mizzou would be top 10 if everyone played everyone. Or even if they played anyone!
The rankings are a big money scam - I will not get into how to fix the BCS model until its bowl time. But the whole thing is a joke!
