does this one remind you of UTEP? At least Rice is down 15 whereas UTEP was down only 14...but what did it take UTEP...about 7 minutes to tie us and send the game to OT? We need to score again to win this one

Yeah, reminds me of UTEP and every other game we have given away this year. I think we may have to score twice more to win this one.

Seems like every time we have a QB caught they end up breaking one for a big gain. So frustrating.

Wow, we stop the 2 point conversion. Never thought that would happen. Up 2. Now I guess Rice can make a field goal as time expires to break our hearts. I wish I could be more positive.

Rice rallied with two TDs, but SMU deflected the 2 pt. conversion so the score is 42-40 with 10:01 to go.

didn't take long for Rice to have a shot a the tie. At least we have the 2 pt lead. 1st team to 50 wins?

46 yard FG attempt was wide right. Still 42-40 with 6:56 to go.

Thought I'd become the 6th person to post on this all-important thread.

Any sense of how many fans are at the game today...sounds pretty vacant?? tell-tell sign is when you can hear 1 fan making a comment from the stands...

Here we go. Rice ball with 2:30 left. Down 2. Guess the ending.

this is getting to be too predictable - only queston is whether Rice wins with a TD or FG

Rice driving--let the defense fall down & let the offense win it?

Maybe we will get a gift like Memphis did a couple of weeks ago and they will miss a 20 yard fg as time expires. He has missed a PAT today.
