I'd say the monday after our last game. Let PB clean out his office and get away from campus. It seems like they already know who it is so it should come pretty quickly after the season ends.

I am willing to box everything up for him on Saturday. It is the least I can do for him since he won't be getting a Xmas gift from me this year. Anyone want to help?

I think it will be the Monday after the last game of the coach we have selected. If the last game for that coach is this weekend it will be the 26th. If it is the next weekend it will be December 3rd. The respect being given is not as much for Coach Bennett as it is for the coach being hired.

I would think he would have already started the clean out a while back. I think the only thing left is Oscar's litter box and a bag of Kitty Litter.

I am saying the date will be December 3rd. Do not ask me why, I just believe it to be. That said, assuming a Monday announcement, we will know after 11/26 if that will be the case or not. If it is December 3, then we can assume it is because the coach selected has not yet finished his season this next weekend. In checking the upcoming schedules, coaches that have been rumored that are coaching beyond this coming weekend are Steve Kragthorpe on 11/29, Hal Mummee on 11/30, Paul Johnson on 12/1 and Ty Willingham on 12/1, and for Ponyte, Pete Carroll on 12/1

I am guessing Kragthorpe announced on 12/3 with a candlestick in the Heritage Hall.

Now I am going to just settle back and enjoy the continued speculation.

Mrydel, what happens if this WOW coach takes his team to a Bowl Game?

Navy and Arkansas are both 7-4 while Clemson is 8-3.

I say November 26th at High Noon.

Many coaches are fired or resign after the season and prior to bowls. It is much less often done during the regular season. Then the decision is made as to whether or not they stay on for the bowl game. It seems that more often than not a coordinator take the team to the bowl game.

And if you note my subsequent post, if it is Kragthorpe, the bowl game will not be a factor.
