if, say, JWillis were to fumble, does that mean he gets a black horseshoe?

I think that is Cavan putting those bones on the helmet.

Yes - what a great idea. If we need help figuring out how to do that we can just call the YMCA for tips.
Those little stickers would have definately been the difference this year.

I don't care if it is your sacred Ohio State, ND or whomever - it looks bush league. Not sure who is was that mandated I had to bow down tom Southlake Carrol or Ohio State. Of course, this is the same board that thinks the RICE band exhibits humor. Sorry. I outgrew stickers and bathroom humor attempts right after Beginner Sunday School. I do retain my affinity for the word DooDoo, however.
Long live Thomas Sowell!

It looks cluttered, white trash even.

I don't care if it looks like a the trash bin behind your house, if it helps us get a higher quality recruit it should be CONSIDERED. It sure hasn't hurt the teams that use it ESPECIALLY OHIO STATE!

Recruits choose a school because they put stickers on their helmet? That's absolutely the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

We did do little red Horseshoes during the Cavan era. We were never told what plays we received them for though. The equipment guys put them on for us. As long as the stickers are kept to a minimum, then it doesn't look bad.

Whatever "motivates the boys," I like to say. I got no problem with stickers. My hs coach gave them out. Stupid as it sounds, it really was a motivating factor. Only got 2 my senior yr (I only played on special teams, give me a break)
