Cowher also is supposed to be on the short list to replace Joe Gibbs whenever he decides to hang it up in D.C.

i think Gibbs recently said he was sticking around for a while, i still think Cowher wants to be near his North Carolina home

I'm sure he'll want to walk in the Salary Cap Hell that the Redskins will be when next season rolls around...and that's with a Salary Cap increase.
