Don't know if he thought of this on his own, but this was part of his contract with A & M and funded that way. He did not do this on his own out of the goodness of his heart.

Also, the school did most of the work and school employees helped with use of A & M facilities. I am sure he is not an evil guy, but I was always taught actions speak lounder than words and his actions with how he handled other situations esp. players and leaving them speaks for itself.

Again, I just think we need someone different and better at this critical time.

so we "hate" Fran because he left players high & dry at Alabama after inheriting a mess at Alabama?

lets see....other coaches that do this just about every year are "saints" but Fran.....oh my he is such a devil!

do you people really think alot of coaches when they leave a school for a better job/situation dont leave alot of broken promises to recruits, parents, and players?.......are you freaking kidding?

oh so Fran is the devil because he didnt say "goodbye" and get alot of "F-U" hugs from players he was leaving at Alabama? Fran told his players via telconference.....OH MY GOD THE GUY IS HORRIBLE!......lol

is Fran perfect?.....Uh no.....but you guys with this hatred of Fran need to really take a look at this illogical hatred.

oh my the guy was raising some change from a newsletter to boosters....OMG GOD how horrible it that?.....while Mack Brown practically runs a county jail at his team headquarters........oh my.....but Fran is the horrible one!

you guys dont think big boosters at almost every school dont get inside information?........yeah I gotta bridge to sell you too

oh lets see Fran has a few NCAA problems, not at alabama like Stallion said today were due to NCAA sanctions resulting from violations of the previous Alabama head coach, Mike DuBose....oh but Bob Stoops at OU is a saint but his players....his starting QB is getting paid for work he didnt do......oh but Fran is the horribe one!

look i am no huge Fran supporter....he's not my first choice....but you guys/girls need to get a grip.....we are 1-11!!!!!!......yeah thats one and freaking eleven!!!!......if we get Fran you better kiss the ground, because he would be a HUGE HUGE HUGE upgrade!.....and Fran is no worse than the "saints" you seem to have no problem with like Barnett/Bowden/Stoops/Neuheisel, ect....who all have skeletons in their closets!
