JJ said he wants to coach about 5 more years. He could put us back on the map and leave us in good standing a la what Fran did at TCU.

WOW. If JJ is hired, it would definitely make a big splash in the national media. I can't imagine it would announced officially tonight after the game, though. Still think Fran would be a better fit, but I will take him AND the splash.

(I'm not getting my hopes up, though.)

OK I found this as a response to the same thread posted at top. Definitely check it out AN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW with June Jones last Nite. IN MY OPINION he is playing this for all the negotiating leverage he can. If Hawaii fumbles the ball who knows...But there was a specific reason he gave that interview.
