The difference here was that these comments serve absolutely no purpose but to make the new coach sound stupid to the sheep who would believe Kendrick. Can't help recruiting, for one. Also makes Kendrick look like a pompous @ss.

I sure hope they have. Although I'm much more confident about that than I am about us having stopped doing stupid things at SMU. He hasn't threatened to pull his money from here yet--at least not that I am aware of!
