Well does MM live in the area? Honestly, Im not trying to throw out wild rumors or anything, I just thought it was odd. Judging by the attention to the flight tracker I think that this is at least of some substance.

Um, he's sick. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw June pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious. "Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid." John Wayne

"Thank you Simone.....Frye? Frye?"
Unfortuntely, not true. I'm very single so they don't let people come in there stag. You have to come as a couple I imagine. _____________________________________

Not true, single men are allowed but they limit the number. You can call ahead and reserve a future slot (why not: pun intended), however.
Dunno' .... but why Valley Ranch? I actually don't think this would be a bad hire. I'm thinking Pete Carroll here. Seriously, when USC hired him I was thinking he was washed up, kind of feel the same way about Martz.... but the dude has a helluvan' offense. Love to see what he'd do with Willis. ![]() Eric Dickerson in Pony Excess "I've love winning man, it's like better than losing." - Ebby Calvin "Nuke" LaLoosh
His Head Coaching Stats:
Games over .500: 21 Super Bowl Wins: 0 Overall Championships: 0 Conference Championships: 1 Division Championships: 3 Stats as a Offensice Coordinator From 1999-2001 the Rams placed as the #1 offense in points and total yards. I think that SMU is in a great position with either coach that they hire. If they can get Martz to become Pete Carroll South then more's the merrier. The only advantage that I give Jones is that he's coached college more recently. But Martz has some experience there as well. His background is somewhat similar to Carroll's and I always hear you guys comparing yourselves to USC. Give him 5 years and you'll be there under Martz. In one of my other post in this forum, I feel that the talent in the DFW area is far to great for a few schools to chew on. Hell, even the unknown talents from DISD are exploding on the scene and they aren't heavily recruited. Micheal Crabtree (who torched SMU, I was there for the game) didn't play WR in high school. Trust me he wasn't heavily recruited. Look at Kansas SMU fans, all they did was hire Mangino and after a few seasons....look at them. SMu has an easier road for them than Kansas did. MArtz if he comes...will look for speed, which is something DFW has in earnest. Just recruit them. Actually The QB from Highland Park would look great running Martz system. The only question I have is how serious is Martz? Did someone see him in Valley View seriously?
EP, the Cherry pit would be in Duncanville, not DeSoto. (Southwest Dallas County pride thing goin' on here).
The thing about PC at USC is his almost 'student-like' enthusiasm about the whole thing. Poor choice of words but you get the picture. A friend who knows PC and visited with him right before the season says he is down right giddy about where he is in life (USC + college ball in general), and would not go back to the pros. What I wonder is if Martz has the capacity to be infected with the college spirit at his age? I do believe there are pro coaches who miss the excitement of the college scene.
