He's already coached in the facilities-if he has legitimate interest in the program 80% of the interview will deal with academic admission issues.

If there are those who really don't think this academis issue hasn't been addressed to some extent before Jones comes here, then you're nuts. Something in there intrigued him enough to hop on a plane and come about 3,500 miles to go through this.

I think he knows enough about the facilities. I think he wants to sit down with Orsini and Turner and find out how committed they are to winning. That is the deal closer. If he believes that they are committed to doing what it takes to win then he'll be introduced as the new HC. Bank on it.

General, you and I now have an official cease fire. You hit right on the head, and we know who the common enemy is!

Stallion, I will agree that I think JJ and GT will have a "come to Jesus meeting on admissions tomorrow." But you got to think that it has already been discussed. At least it is something that JJ can live with.

No I think June Jones has been Coaching a team in a BCS Bowl. Yes I do believe there will be extensive discussions about these issues.

One may think he coached a BCS team. I actually saw him coach a BCS team.
Again, let's not kid ourselves. This will discussed. But if any of us think that coaches are going 24/7 and leave nothing for down time, then you're still nuts.
I bet you a dime to a dollar that preliminary information about this has been relayed. Again, Jones isn't coming here because he wants to take advantage of the 73-degree weather we have in store on Saturday.
This is, I believe, a case where some hard dialogue will be exchange and give and take.
But this isn't going to be, "hey, what about academic restrictions?"
This is going to be about, "Leigh has told me this about these timetables for the education school and so on. I know a little about the JUCO thing. What I need to know is this...''
And then it goes from there.

Stallion....can President Turner make this call on his own?
In other words if he promises June Jones a significant loosening would that have had to been already approved by some committee or does he have the full power to make that happen on his own ?

Seriously, I can see how pissed JJ is only getting a 1.1 mil. offer from Hawaii after taking them to a BCS Bowl game and earning what a net amount of $4.5 MILLION for Hawaii from the game ? They are really not paying him anything because he and his team have already earned enough money to pay JJ for over 4 years if he took that deal. Amazing really....Coach Jones is coming here !!!
