Wow he needs to step up or get off the pot. While I may have my disagreements with some on this board. The possible hiring of JJ should have been finished today...which it still might.I like comparing the situation to getting a divorce. Wife/Husband #1 is your first love. You have 5-8 happy years together....but during this whole time your spouse has constantly abused drugs and cheated on you. You constantly ask for them to stop cheating and using drugs. They do neither for 3 years then suddenly your spouse claims they have stopped drugs but they still plan on cheating....why would you go back? Another potential spouse shows up and shows all type of promise....why go back to the divorced spouse......

Jones is undecided. Hawaii has made a tremendous 11th hour push to try to sway Jones to stay, including a third, increased offer.
Things are quite fluid. Stay tuned. There may be a resolution tonight. Part of the problem is that Hawaii is four hours behind us.
Here's some other details of what went on during Jones' visit, even while Hawaii made its best effort to try to keep Jones:
Jones' meeting with SMU president R. Gerald Turner went extremely well, Steinberg said. Jones had lunch at booster Gerald Ford's house with Ford and Carl Sewell, the chairman of SMU's board of trustees.
The meeting with the search committee also went well.
Jones had dinner with a large group of SMU boosters tonight at Nick & Sam's. Many SMU folks had flown in from around the state.
"The SMU part of it wasn't hard at all, that was very positive," Steinberg said.
But will it be enough?
I have had many, MANY good experiences and memories at Nick & Sam's. My friend demonstrating the "reverse cowgirl" (yes, right in the dining room) to a table of 40 kids celebrating Prom had to have been my favorite. However, the time I came across a particular ex-dallas-cowboys Running back who ....I will leave the rest of the details as to whom it was....but was there with two old, weathered hookers and two bottles of champagne in the dark corner booth in the bar - that was entertaining.
Hopefully GJF and the boys pulled out some of that bizness. Except, hotter hookers.
