Bo Levi Mitchell would be a nice pick-up and clearly someone June identified as a guy that would fit his system, if not a little bit under the radar (despite playing at Katy). I think a QB would be most affected by Jone's departure and was most likely attracted to the program as a result of the offense they ran.

I would be very surprised if we didn't snag a couple of Hawaii's Texas recruits.

UNT is another place that local talent identifies as having a high octane offense in the future, due to their knowledge of Dodge. This might be another spot to mine/steal some recruits who desire big numbers...

Right now, unless they are JUCO players that have already signed LOI's, everyone is still fair game. Grab the commit list from Tulsa, Hawaii, Coogar High, and those still on the fence and let's go to town. Obviously, it is not going to be realistic to expect UT, OU, etc. to lose commits, but everyone else is fair game.

Just out of curiousity, does anyone here believe that PB would have put together a better class through a full season than JJ will during the next four weeks?

A kdi to take a look at is Nick Florence out of Garland. The kid had interest in us and then decided on Baylor before Briles was hired. Briles has since received a commit from a 4-star QB out of Copperas Cove.

Heck no...

PB was about 5 cans short of a 6 pack when it came to recruiting

While PB elevated the level of talent at SMU, I would bet JJ can land a better recruiting class in the month he has remaining than PB could have if he was still here. JJ clearly said he will find recruits after signing day that didn't sign anywhere.
