First of all, learn to spell his name right. Secondly, it's hard to be overrated when you're the NFL's all-time leader in wins, TDs and yards. Thirdly, he gets the media's love for the same reason that he gets America's love: because he LOVES the game! Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Patriots (and Brady) fan, but there is no-one who so visibly loves playing football more than Brett Favre. His numbers are fantastic, but his love for the game is why he is so revered.

You'll probably take it off after the Giants get rolled by the Patriots in the Super Bowl like they did, what, three weeks or so ago? Maybe I can find a few Golden Girls reruns to watch that night on Channel 867. *yawn*
rolled by the patriots? they won by three points numnut

You failed to mention that he is the career leader in interceptions. Also, as someone who is well versed in Engrish even I understood that the spelling of the name favre as he did was deliberate. It does please me however to know that these obvious spelling errors are not limited to my side of the Pacific.

Oh, the mis-spelling was deliberate? You know this? So you're a mindreader. Congratulations.
You're right, though...I did not mention that Favre is the career leader in INTs. I also didn't mention that he's started every game since 1992. The fact that Favre is the career leader in INTs is only further proof of his greatness. You don't even get the opportunity to make that many mistakes unless you're a pretty special player.

You make me laugh, American. The heart of a virtuous person has settled down and he does not rush about at things. A person of little merit is not at peace but walks about making trouble and is in conflict with all. I have found you to not be at peace.

Being superior to others is nothing other than having people talk about your affairs and listening to their opinions. The general run of people settle for their own opinions and thus never excel. Having a discussion with a person is one step in excelling him. A certain person discussed with me the written materials at the clan office. He is better than someone like me in writing and researching. In seeking correction from others, you excel them.

This will be a great Super Bowl. The Giants may even win. Then Wade Phillips can tell everybody the Cowboys are a better team than the world champions.
GO GIANTS!!!!!!

That doesn't prove anything. Career strikeout leader Nolan Ryan is also the career leader in walks. Career win leader Cy Young is also the career leader in losses.

And another thing, Tom Brady gets a LOT of press. Every third story on SportsCenter last night was about the Patriots, and at least half of them talked about Tom Brady in some way. And I thought it wasn't possible to talk about them more after the coverage they got all season.

The Giants gave the Pats fits the last time they played. However, I figure Belichek will have these guys ready for whatever Coughlan can throw at them. But the Giants have an excellent defense and they showed it Sunday. The Pats are getting more and more efficient every week. Its scarry.

I will say that the best thing about the Giants making it this far is that it's probably making Tiki realize how much of a blowhard he really is. Hey Tiki, they made it to the Super Bowl without your idiot [deleted]!

so is that why they have been losing in several of their last few games and why their margin of victory has gone down dramatically?
