I have cleared this trip with corporate (the wife) a long time ago, and am pretty much a done deal to be making the trip down to Annapolis to attend on 10/25. Other Knucklehead considers himself better than 50 percent for clearance. However, raplh's participation will be required.

I went from Chantilly to Dallas once. It was pleasant. Of course I was driving AWAY from my ex-wife, so that did help quite a bit.

If you want to spend time in DC fly in to one of those airports and take the Amtrak or Metroliner down and back. You don't need a car to get around Annapolis, there's no reason to spend any time in Baltimore ( see: The Wire), and you don't need a car in DC. I'm taking the train down from NY...I keep checking the Navy site for tickets.

raplh is very much considering this game, UCF in florida and one game at SMU -- its gonna be a great year
