Someone can have my copy. Did anyone notice the part of when he left the San Diego Chargers for Hawaii how he said he prayed about it and went to sleep and when he woke, he was at peace with the decision he was about to make...sounds familiar?

All kidding aside, I've been checking out your boards since JJ left Hawaii and can finally accept the fact he's gone and can move on now. You guys really scored a big time coach...well worth the price. Hey if he can resurrect a 0-12 team and go 9-4 the very next season with the same players??...you guys should go 10-3 at the very least.

I may not be a big SMU fan but I'm a huge JJ fan and I'll be following you guys and wishing you luck this coming season.

Not to soften up your boards or anything but to give you an idea of the impact a guy like JJ can make, my 70 year old mother stood in line for over an hour to buy JJ's book and have him autograph it.

She never watched a down of football before JJ's arrival. She started watching UH on TV the following year and started coming to the games in 2001. She hasn't missed a game since...not even the Sugar Bowl.

When she got word that JJ left, she actually shed tears and until a week ago, refused to renew her season tickets for this coming season (even though I pay for it). She has renewed faith in Greg McMackin so she said she'll try this season out but it'll never be the same without JJ and she's right.

So never take something that good for granted as we all thought he'd be here until he retired. He's changed an entire State here, he'll make an impact there. Good luck this season.
