OT: Aggies v. Hogs Dallas

Just on the Dale Hansen show (yes, I hate him too) .....somebody had proposed a long while back that they put a roof on the Cotton Bowl and Dallas city council denied it. Just think if they would have put tons of money in that stadium when they should have. They would have OU-TX for life, the Cotton Bowl, among other stuff.

I wouldn't put the possibility of us playing in the new stadiun once in a blue moon out of the realm of possibilities if we can get a bigtime oponent. If JJ puts us on the map it can happen.

I can assure you that if the blessed day ever arrives when SMU is invited into the Big 12 that we will play the following home games at Jerry World:
UT
A&M
OU
maybe Tech.

The rest will be at Ford. The good news is that we will make more money at Cowboy stadium than Ford.

In fact, having Cowboy stadium increases the chances of SMU likilhood of getting into the Big 12 if a slot opens up. But I guess it helps TCU also.

By the way - Dallas wins on this more then Arlington. They will stay in our hotels and eat at our restaurants, and we didnt have to pay for a thing. I hate having to leave civilization and take a whole day just to go see a football fame, and yes it would be nice to have it in Dallas - and Laura was a twit - but the economics are not defensible for a few football games a year. If arlington was not such a patsy then Jerry would have had no choice but to pay his share - but he found a greater fool.
