check that picture out in the DMN-how tall is Logan Turner-really. How tall is June Jones because he towers over Turner. He looks like a junior high QB.

Turner is about 6'0" but June is close to 6'4" or so.

Yes this is true, NB is closeby but I've heard him speak rather...lowly...of Texas State as well. I'm really not sure though, just what I know

I am going to get trashed for saying this but anyways does it really matter if he's back? I was never a big fan of him. Raw talent but under PB seemed to only get worse. Bad temper, poor leader and I can't stand his 'happy feet'. Glad he got his act together but let's face it, he probably won't even be a starting QB by the end of the year.

All Willis needs is discipline. I was watching the Houston game yesterday (yeah, it's May, what can I say?) and that one game really seemed to show the two headed monster. 402 total yards, and 28 points, but 5 fumbles, and a pick.
Last year, Willis was the biggest star in the stadium for SMU, and he knew it. I'm hoping that today he understands that June Jones is the star now, and in order for Willis to even have a shot, he has to mature and get that discipline that he so very much needs.
I'm hoping that this is the first step in that direction, but I wouldn't be surprised if he get's the Mike Ford treatment in 2008.

I cant bring myself to bash a fellow pony but... this is a ridiculous statement.
The sole export of Chuck Norris is pain

I want the best QB available on the field this fall. Whoever that is according to Coach Jones is fine with me. But JW offers the experience on the field that it would be nice to have. If he isn't the guy Coach Jones wants, fine with me.

For what it's worth, Willis had 3,643 yards of total offense in 2007.
No other player in SMU history has ever topped 3,000 in a single season.

When you are the only player on the team producing, have no O line to protect you, have no WR getting open to catch the ball, and when they do they drop it, and coach by someone that nobody has any faith in, you are going to get happy feet, and get frustrated, and and a bad temper. It is amazing that you guys can get on here and say that we'd be better off without him.
Come on!

So you agree that having serious competiton at the QB position is a good thing. Even, if, Willis doesn't win out.
