I think what coach Patterson was trying to say to June Jones was that he needs to win or "he will be living in a van down by the river".

My interpretation... Patterson was saying that Jones has hurdles to overcome at SMU (on-field performance) just like Patterson did at TCU (Patteron's hurdle being a lack of HC experience). Nothing more and nothing less but I'm sure some of you will read more into it.

My science course taught me coal was formed over years of time by pressure upon decaying plants, yadda yadda yadda. Please tell me what your course at TCU taught. I also learned that wood, in this instance pictured, came from live trees cut down for fuel.
