Mapps and Hudman

Neither Mapps or Hudman are on the the Fall Camp Roster. There were freshmen on the 4th of July float, form HP OL Zach Boyd, for sure and they were wearing other players old Nike jerseys. So are you really sure it was Mapps and not just someone wearing his jersey? Looks like former Highland Park quarterback William Webb is transfering from UVA and walking on as a receiver.

I'm pretty sure this was not the guy on the float wearing the Mapps jersey. The guy in the jersey had a small shaved head and was very very dark skinned.

I hate the fact that Mapps appears gone, but I am not too worried about the RB position. Given that Jones' offense will use this position a little less, and that we have Demyron Martin and Chris Butler, and that Andrew McKinney is moving back to RB, we should be okay.

DB on the other hand.....let's just say that given how bad our D was last year, I'd feel better with as many guys to throw at the position to see who sticks, and to offer some depth.
